Thinking Beyond Attachments: Document Libraries for Atlassian Confluence
03-29, 17:45–18:00 (US/Pacific), Room 1

Document libraries, like those similar to 'Sharepoint sites', are an integral part of document management systems. But traditionally, this concept of a 'document library' hasn't existed in Confluence, which is why users gravitate towards attachments as an alternative – until now.

Document libraries, like those similar to the ones in 'Sharepoint sites', are an integral part of document management systems. Having a central hub for all of your documents provides structure and enables some powerful document management features. But traditionally, this concept of a 'document library' doesn't exist in Confluence, which is why users gravitate towards attachments as an alternative – embedding them on pages and building integrations, which creates silos and poses other challenges.

In this talk, we'll introduce the concept of 'native' Confluence documents and how Scroll Documents can help users create and manage these documents as a library in your intranet. You'll learn how to bring structure and visibility to your content and turn your Confluence documents into custom, professionally-styled Word or PDF documents.

Anshuman Dash is the Product Manager for K15t's Scroll Documents app. After working for five years in India, he moved to Germany to pursue his master's degree, interned at K15t, fell in love with the company, and decided to stay a little longer than originally planned.

Driven by a desire to solve problems and a fondness for technology, Anshuman can be found navigating his path of professional self-discovery, building awesome apps for the Atlassian ecosystem and discovering new avenues for creative expression.

When he's not burning his brain cells over the next cool feature to build, Anshuman spends his free time struggling to learn German, doing some front-end development, drinking espresso, and even writing poetry every now and then!
